WOW! The addition of Eau Claire’s seventh Bluebird Trail located at Phillips Medisize is taking us to new heights! This Bluebird Trail was installed late in the season (June 1st). Normally a trail is installed late March in order to encourage songbirds’ first brood of babies. Since this trail was installed mid season, our incoming results are even better than we could have imagined.
Out of those 23 total young, 18 are Bluebirds and 5 are Tree Swallows!

Through the next few months, Phillips Medisize employees will be learning and participating in the monitoring process so they too can become Citizen Scientists.
