Watershed Institute’s Bluebird Restoration Project

The UWEC Watershed Institute added a great post, showcased on their home page. The article describes the plight of the bluebird, a once-endangered species, and the efforts of a group of students to restore it. Along the way, the students helped to foster a sense of community and to help a younger generation move towards becoming responsible caretakers of bluebirds and their habitat. The post focuses on the benefits that these students brought to their community and to themselves, and is well worth a quick read!
